CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS IN CEES

The registration and support of student organizations and services are provided by the Office of the Dean of Students. Students may form associations and clubs, but they should check to see if there is already an existing organization that meets their needs. Student organizations are advised to have their calendar of events/activities coordinated by the office of the Assistant Deans of Students on their respective Campus.

Defined, a student organization is an association of students created for any educational purpose that supports the vision and goals of the university or Campus

Student organizations are an integral part of the CEES community and offer students rich, interdisciplinary opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. The Campus Involvement Center strives to provide a structure and guidance for students to join together for a common purpose. Individually, student organizations provide a platform for students to develop leadership and organizational skills.

Collectively, student organizations enrich campus life by enhancing the cultural, social, and intellectual life of the University. In granting recognition to student organizations, the University and Campus Involvement Center hope to provide support to students aiming to pursue their various interests, talents, and strengths that are separate from formal curricular experiences.
