Professor Jerono Rotich will serve as a visiting professor attached to the Department of Physical Education-School of Education from 1st June to 31st July 2021. Prof. Rotich is a tenured full professor and the Department Chair of Kinesiology and Recreation Administration at North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina, USA. She oversees three Bachelor of Science degree programs (Kinesiology, Sports Medicine and Recreation Administration) with eight different concentrations and Three Masters of Science degree programs (Sports and Athletic Management, Kinesiology, Recreation Administration and Recreation Therapy.
The North Carolina Central University is very keen on developing global partnerships and graduate students who are global-ready. One of the strategic goals is to expand their portfolio of academic offerings and research initiatives and provide new opportunities for Global Immersion. This partnership between North Carolina Central University and Nairobi University will therefore have mutual benefits for both students and faculty in both institutions.
